Thank You to all the volunteer (or commandeered) Challenge Judges

The unofficial total rider attendees is 130 but it appears that number will likely creep up.  The total will be updated once I have verified all attendees.

Many have asked about all the media and news agencies that came to the Moab MUni Fest.  I have posted links to everything I know of that has been published or shown on TV.   Thanks to Michael Grant for capturing and posting the short news video aired Sunday night in SLC on Channel 5.  The links, along with links to photo albums of the event, can be found at Moab MUni Fest 2004 Photo Gallery Links.  There are a potential of three more media products that may be aired or published.  I will add links as these become available.

Several people noticed that a billboard along the I-15 freeway in Salt Lake City had a banner up that announced the Moab MUni Fest this year.  I heard this prior to MMF04 from my sister-in-law but didn’t believe her.  At Moab, we heard from someone else that they had seen a billboard sign announcing our event in Grand Junction.  After I got home to SLC I decided to keep my eyes open and sure enough this is what I saw (see two photos below).

Pretty amazing!  The sign is posted for North bound traffic 1 mile south of 45th South in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I guess I owe thanks to the Moab Travel Counsel for this generous promotion of the Moab MUni Fest.  I only wish their enthusiasm was matched by the BLM and Sandflats Recreation area managers.

Thanks so much to all who participated in making this a record breaking and memorable year for all.
